Abstract

This research explores how innovation and development are linked by looking at Technology and Innovation Hubs. By using the capability approach of Amartya Sen, it looks at the effects of tech hubs on development. In their opinion, tech hubs collaborate to support human development, and they do this without primarily paying attention to jobs or market sales. With this, development is guided by what is beneficial to people and helps them achieve important goals. According to this research, innovation for development may be explained as (often unbalanced) ways people and institutions act, provided that such actions are perceived as valuable by the people involved, with some of those values being about community, learning benefits , and growth. This study aims to provide the technology opportunities, community for computer science students at Godfrey Okoye University. Using the Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA), Structured System Analysis and Design Method (SSADM) and Business Process Modeling (BPM) I applied different UML diagrams such as the use case diagrams and activity diagrams to analyze this proposed system. This Innovation Technology hub website was developed using HTML programming language, CSS which is based on the styling of the website, JavaScript which is based on the front-end of the website and Python which is based on the back-end that was added to bring out the functionality embedded for the website. Godfrey Okoye University Technology Innovation Hub (GO-UNI TIH) is a highly recommended platform for Godfrey Okoye University students and other students from different institution, mentors as it renders distinctive features.
