Abstract
The goal of this study is to determine how thrift clothing Instagram posts affect female undergraduates at GOUNI's purchasing habits. Examining how thrift wear Instagram posts affect female undergraduates at GOUNI's shopping habits is the study's main goal. The specific goals, however, are to ascertain whether female undergraduates at GOUNI are exposed to thrift wear Instagram sponsored posts, ascertain how female undergraduates at GOUNI perceive thrift wear Instagram sponsored posts, ascertain the influence of thrift wear sponsored posts on GOUNI female undergraduates, and ascertain other factors that affect the purchasing habits of female students at Godfrey Okoye University. The descriptive survey method was used to collect information on the impact of thrift store Instagram posts on female undergraduates at GOUNI's shopping habits. The study's conclusions show that female college students are well exposed to secondhand clothing on Instagram and other social media platforms. Secondhand clothing is constantly posted on Instagram pages for female college students to view and choose from. Secondhand clothing is the main form of advertising that Instagram users use to reach female college students. More specifically, the study's findings show that female students at Godfrey Okoye University see that as a unique chance to choose the best options at a low price, as a way to strike up new business relationships with new clothing brands, as a new way to con them out of their hard-earned money, and as an opportunity to advertise their school's thrift store on Instagram. Additionally, the study's results show that sponsored thrift wear Instagram posts have an impact on GOUNI's shopping habits. These posts increase female students' demand for new orders and improve their knowledge of the latest fashions on the market. They also encourage the intended buyer to make well-informed decisions. The results also show that the nature of the product, the price of the product, the nature of the Instagram advertisement, and the quality of the product are all factors that affect the purchasing behavior of Godfrey Okoye's female undergraduates. According to the study, in order to prevent impending negative externalities, school administration should sanitize students' online marketing activities.
