Abstract

This study critically examines the impact of the Israel-Palestine conflict on regional security, with particular focus on the Middle East between 2000 and 2024. Drawing upon qualitative methodologies, including thematic interpretation, historical analysis, and comparative evaluation, the research analyzes the perspectives and contributions of key regional actors—namely Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Yemen, and Egypt—on the feasibility of peace and regional stability. It also assesses whether the 2024 International Criminal Court (ICC) indictment of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has contributed to de-escalation or reinforced hostilities. Additionally, the study investigates the outcomes of past ICC indictments of leaders such as Omar al-Bashir, Muammar Gaddafi, Laurent Gbagbo, and Slobodan Milošević, to identify patterns and correlations between international legal actions and post-conflict peace efforts. Findings reveal that regional players remain deeply divided and constrained by ideological, strategic, and geopolitical interests, which collectively undermine effective resolution efforts. In this research i am going to making use of the regional security complex theory"RSCT" to justify the character of the Israel-palestine conflict which is not merely a bilateral fight but also a vital node in the border regional security web of the Middle East. The study concludes that while international indictments may carry symbolic weight, they have limited capacity to foster peace unless supported by robust diplomatic engagement, domestic reforms, and coordinated international action. The study contributes significantly to discourse on conflict resolution, international law, and Middle Eastern regional security, providing useful insights for policymakers, scholars, and peacebuilding stakeholders.To reduce the instability in the region caused by the Israel-Palestine conflict, Middle Eastern governments need to take more organised and cooperative steps to keep the peace in the region. Legal actions must also be appropriate for the area so the both the people affected and the people in charge of the area see them as fair and right. Legal accountability can only help bring about long-term security. in complicated geographical area like Middle East if it is part of the board multilevel strategy. To reduce instability in the region caused by Israel-palestine conflict middle eastern government needs to take more organizations and corporative steps to keep the peace in the region. Iran, Qatar Saudi Arabia, Yemen should work together on credible platforms like the Arab league to get past their past rhetorical positions and coordinate their respond to humanitarian crisis refugee flows and ideological extremism
