Abstract

This study assessed the topic Terrorism and its implication on global security in the 21st century ( the Isis experience in the middle east 2020-2025). The objectives of this research are as follows ;To Analyze the major trends, transformations, and operational tactics of terrorist groups in the Middle East between 2020 and 2025.To Examine how state-sponsored proxy networks and regional rivalries intensified terrorism and contributed to global insecurity within the study period.To Assess the broader implications of Middle Eastern terrorism such as migration pressures, maritime insecurity, economic disruptions, and geopolitical tensions on global security.This study employed Relative deprivation theory propounded by Ted Robert Gurr, ex post factory research design documentary method of data collection and content analysis. The study was conducted with the following findings ; Terrorist organizations like ISIS have abandoned territorial control to mutate into decentralized, highly resilient networks that rely on asymmetric tactics, drone technologies and digital coordination and it confirms that terrorisim in the Middle East has evolved from a regional issue into a globally interconnected security threat, generating widespread political, economic, technological and humanitarian consequences ranging from refugee crisis and energy market instability to increased international militarisation. This study recommends the following ; To foster regional cooperation and break down proxy networks and Strengthen mechanisms for Digital Counter terrorism and Global Security
