Abstract

This study, “Information and communication management as a predictor for effective administration of secondary schools in Enugu State”, examined and investigated how information communication management is a predictor for effective administration of secondary schools in Enugu State. A correlational research design was used for the study. Three research questions guided the study, and three null hypotheses were posited and tested. The population of the study was made up of 8,588 principals and teachers in government-owned secondary schools in Enugu State. The sample comprised 12 principals and 356 teachers, giving a total of 368 principals and teachers. This sample was drawn from the three educational zones using simple random sampling techniques. Two Research instruments were designed by the researcher, titled Information Communication Management Questionnaire (ICMQ) and Effective Administration Questionnaire (EAQ) and validated by one expert in educational administration and planning and two experts in Measurement and Evaluation, University of Nigeria Nsukka.
