Abstract
The researcher intends to capture the influence of educational commercials on parents’ choice of school for their children; a lot of strategic and intensive process was taken place in other to come up with this whole work. Distribution of questionnaires at the federal and state secretariat offices at Enugu metropolis of Nigeria took place in other to come up with sophisticated material for this work. Reference to the internet and books by different authors was also done in partial fulfilment of this work. The theory used for this study is the agenda setting theory. The population for the study was drawn from the civil servants inhabiting the city of Enugu metropolis and from the population, the sample sizes was coined out using the Taro Yamani calculation. Survey method was as well adopted to fulfil the projects data distribution and collection process. Data was carefully and strategically analysed using tables and charts to represent them individually. Some recommendations were also proposed to enhance easier work for researchers who intend to venture into the field of this research work and also for educational institutions to emulate and adhere to in order to achieve their goals which is to get prospects to enrol their child/children/wards. The work was partially fulfilled to the best of the researcher’s capability ensuring the coverage of specific ranges of the study.
