Abstract

This study was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of internal control system in Nigerian Banks. It was aimed to evaluate internal control system in Nigerian banking industry. The study made use of research survey design. And questionnaire method of data collection and also chi-square analytical too to test it's hypotheses. The study found out that internal control activities is positive and significant in diamond banks. The study also recommended that for proper records to be kept and for smooth running of activities, internal control activities must be effective.
