Abstract

Education in Nigeria and the world over is conceived by an instrument for rapid national development, education when properly structured and organized, invariable leads to development. The Nigerian national policy on education (FGN 2014) emphasized that education is an instrument par excellence for effecting national development. Therefore, it simply follows that the future of any nation depends on the quality of the national education system.
