Abstract
This simple book on statistics: The Pivot of Statistics is an attempt to explain in brief some statistical concepts that constitute some difficult to students in our institution of higher learning in Nigeria. It is meant to assist a layman into learning statistics. It contains fourteen short chapters beginning with an introduction to social and education to social and educational statistics and ended with concepts in measurement & evaluation.
