Abstract

This study aims at determining how, and to what extent, dividend payouts and earnings correlate with the fluctuation in the market price of ordinary share of listed Nigeria insurance companies. American International Insurance company is used as proxy for the sector. The study covers the period from 2005 to 2014. The ordinary least squares statistical technique is utilized for caring out the empirical analysis.
