Abstract

This research was on Human rights, Militarism and Boko Haram. It aimed at establishing whether militarism exist in Nigeria and violate human rights. In addition, whether a most sitting example is found in the activity of the group known as Boko Haram. Three hypotheses where evaluated. It was found that human rights are universal and inalienable, militarism in certain context applies to Nigeria, and Boko Haram forcefully violates human rights of Nigerians. The researcher recommended that government at all level should reject corruption and truly serve the people. Also there should be a call for truce.
