Abstract

As the trend of natural phenomena appears unscriptible the chart of ways of humankind becomes incomprehensible. But with the encompass of this dimensionless chart, only one thing remained comprehensible and that is the fact that the paths of man is to pursue good, face it and avoid evil (Natural principle: Bonum facendum et procequendum et malum vitandum). The pursuance of this good goal is not always smooth and safe. Hence the ingress is through naked and bare, the progress is through trouble and care, while the egress yet to come will be and nobody knows when (known, unknown theory). But we are sure of its mathematical conclusions that if we do well here we will do well there. We are also sure that whatever a person ardently conceives and believes, that will the person achieve. We are also sure that there is no true progress without problems, no palm has been enjoyed without pains, no glory has been praised without the pressure of gall, no throne has ever been attained without a thorn and no crown has ever been achieved without a rosy cross. As a matter of fact, this old adage, nihi mutaribus dato sine laboure (nothing without labour) suffices. When somebody gives a little bit of something to others, and others give a little bit of it, then a compromise is struck. This compromise is the hallmark of a progressive society which every professor wishes to observe, engineer and encourage. When this compromise settles a score of social conflict be it in education, politics or economics, then the professor can then raise his or her hands up and shout like Archimedes Eureka! Eureka!! Eureka!!! (I found it). Today, as a professor I thank God, I have found it. Inquirers may ask, found what? But active observers would reply that PROF. NDIDI OZOFOR has found happiness in some aspects of the teaching, learning and reducing mathematics abstractions into concrete evidence for a proper growth of man. From 2009 I have been working in the University, I served, and am still serving as a mathematics and statistics clinic to different people at different levels.
