Abstract
The paper traces the specific nature of Christian faith from along the story lines of the creation and covenant scheme in the Bible. Against the background of the Old and New Testaments use of relational categories to describe the firmness and steadfastness that characterize biblical characters of faith, the author discusses the faithlessness and disloyalty that present-day pastoral agents exhibit. According to her, only persons of great faith can serve as leaders and pastoral agents in the Church.
